This exclusive masterclass will guide you through the entire production cycle — from the initial idea and songwriting to the final mixing with legendary engineer Manny Marroquin.

The first part of the course is dedicated to inspiration and songwriting and lasts 15 minutes. It covers finding inspiration and creative approaches, writing lyrics and melodies, as well as working with Celemony Melodyne for vocal correction.

The second part lasts 6 minutes and focuses on arrangement and audio engineering. It explores working with keyboards and guitars, sidechain compression, recording strings through tube microphones. The equipment used includes Roland Juno-106, Neve 88R, Pultec EQP1A, Neumann U67, and Telefunken U47.

The third part of the course covers brass, bass, and synthesizers, with a duration of 11 minutes. Here you will learn about arranging brass sections, recording bass guitar (Fender Precision Bass), quantization, and working with synthesizers. Equipment includes Neumann U67, AKG C12, Lexicon 480L, Pultec EQP-1A, and LA-2A.

The fourth part lasts 15 minutes and is dedicated to drums and percussion. It covers recording live drums (Gretsch Maple 5-piece kit), sampling and time correction, percussion and programming. Equipment includes Neve 88R, Neumann U87, Coles 4038, Shure SM-57, LinnDrum, and Akai MPC.

The fifth part of the course lasts 5 minutes and focuses on vocals and effects. It explores recording lead and backing vocals, vocal processing: Auto-Tune, compression, de-essing, creating effects and atmosphere. Equipment includes Telefunken U47, LA-2A, FabFilter Pro-Q3, and Valhalla VintageVerb.

The sixth part is dedicated to mixing and mastering together with Manny Marroquin. It covers the final track mixing, mastering tips, and secrets of successful collaboration.

As a result of taking this course, you will learn the process of creating a hit from idea to release, master working with premium equipment: vintage microphones, analog consoles, classic synthesizers. You will learn recording techniques for vocals, drums, brass, and strings. You will get acquainted with modern plugins: Waves, FabFilter, Soundtoys, Valhalla.
