Dawesome LOVE 2: Updated Granular Multi-FX Effect Plugin

Dawesome has released the second version of its brilliant granular multi-effects plugin called LOVE, available for both macOS and Windows. The new release comes with significant functional updates and enhancements.

The original LOVE was introduced by the developer of Dawesome's unique synthesizers back in 2023. It was an innovative solution that combined granular synthesis effects with various audio processes to achieve atmospheric, shimmering sounds.

Many users received this plugin free of charge thanks to a promotion from Plugin Boutique in 2023. Now we see the next stage of development—the Dawesome LOVE 2.

Features of Dawesome LOVE 2​

The new plugin retains the concept of the original LOVE while offering an intuitive interface and a wide range of functions for sound processing. Key features include:

• The granular engine remains unchanged, featuring three types of musical grain settings ("swarm," "chop," "robot"), each with unique characteristics and detailed adjustment capabilities.
• The number of effect algorithms has doubled, now providing up to 20 freely assignable slots adjustable via drag-and-drop.
• Each effect includes individual macro controls as well as expanded access to additional parameters, including dry/wet signal balance.
• Users can save custom presets for each module, allowing quick recall of favorite delay, reverb, or other effect configurations.
• Improved randomization helps speed up finding new ideas and experimentation with sound.

Additionally, the new plugin ships with over 250 professionally created presets, and owners of the first version of LOVE will be able to import their old presets directly into the new version.

LOVE 1 already established itself as an inspiring tool, convenient to use and capable of creating expressive sounds. LOVE 2 appears to be a worthy successor, maintaining simplicity while adding more flexibility and variety in signal processing.

The upgrade price is quite fair, especially considering many people obtained the first version completely free. Currently, there’s a special offer—€49 instead of the regular €69.
